We act as a trading company of the Cosmo Oil Group, providing various services and
products (except petroleum products) to our business partners and customers both inside and outside the Group.

We were established as COSMO TRADE & SERVICE CO., LTD. in 1988, two years after Cosmo Oil Co., Ltd. had been founded. However, it could be said that we have been operating for more than 50 years if the business activities of our predecessor are included.

We are engaged in a wide variety of businesses: sales of car-related parts and products such as tires and batteries to Cosmo Oil’s distributors; various businesses as an agent, the import of construction materials, non-life insurance, life insurance, and travel business; manufacturing and sale of oil boom winders, biological clean rooms (BCRs) for medical use, and fuel for radio-controlled models, etc. as manufacturing businesses; procurement and sales of industrial materials; export of Japanese foodstuffs to the Middle East; the handling of various printed materials; and sales of mobile phones through directly-managed sales outlets.

We consider the bringing-up of human resources to be the most important aspect of
promoting the above-mentioned businesses. We believe our value will be recognized and our sustainability will be ensured only as a result of offering valuable services and products which benefit society and satisfy our business partners and customers.

Furthermore, our corporate mission is to enhance business productivity by encouraging our highly motivated staff to constantly improve their expertise and skills.

Under continuous changes in the surrounding environment, we are determined to fully understand customer needs in our existing businesses, strive to create new businesses for new clients, enrich the development of human resource, and endeavor to establish further efficient organizational operations.
